Terms of Service

Welcome to Veyled (the “Service”), a private adult social network operated by Veyled (the “Company”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account, and membership requires successful adult verification.

• Account responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Eligibility: You must be a real person acting on your own behalf; entities and automated agents are not permitted.
• Acceptable use: You agree not to upload, post or transmit unlawful, infringing, harmful, harassing, threatening, fraudulent or rights-violating content; not to solicit or promote prostitution, trafficking or commercial sexual services; not to impersonate others; and not to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Content license: You retain ownership of your content. You grant the Company a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process your content solely to operate the Service, subject to these Terms and our Content Policy.
• Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our refund policy and applicable law.
• Enforcement: Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms or our policies. You may close your account at any time.
• Disclaimers & liability: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
• Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved under the Dispute Resolution section.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Veyled collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum necessary to operate a private adult social network.

Identity and verification: We collect your email address and, via an independent verification provider, confirmation that you are an adult (18+), a provider reference and a timestamp. We do not receive or store your government ID, selfie or biometric data — those are processed by the provider and not retained by us.

Profile and content: The pseudonym, photos, bio, preferences, kinks and other information you choose to add. You control what you share.

Activity and safety: Interactions, consent events, reports, moderation actions and trust signals, retained for safety, abuse prevention and legal compliance.

Usage and device: Basic technical and analytics data such as approximate region and session information. We do not collect precise GPS location.

• To provide, operate and secure the Service.
• To verify adult status and prevent access by minors.
• To match members, enable consent-gated interactions and power trust and safety features.
• To investigate, prevent and respond to violations, reports and legal requests.

How we use your data

• Independent verification provider (only to confirm adult status, under their privacy terms).
• Service providers and subprocessors under contract (hosting, email, analytics, payments).
• Legal authorities where required by valid legal process.

Sharing

• Access, export and delete your data; withdraw consent and revoke consent stages at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
• We retain data only as long as needed for the purpose, safety obligations or legal compliance, then delete or anonymise it.
• We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest and restrict access on a least-privilege basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design for privacy and security by default.
• The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Suspected minors are removed and reported to the relevant authorities.

Cookie Policy

Veyled uses essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service — to keep you signed in, remember your 18+ confirmation and protect against abuse.

We also use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles or sell data.

• Essential: authentication, session, age-gate confirmation and security.
• Analytics: aggregate, privacy-respecting metrics to improve the Service.
• You can manage or clear cookies in your browser; some features may not work without essential cookies.

Community Guidelines

Veyled is for verified adults exploring consensually. These guidelines keep it that way.

• Consent first: Treat every interaction as revocable. If consent is withdrawn, stop immediately.
• Respect: No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or doxxing.
• No minors: No content involving anyone under 18, including fictional or AI-generated depictions. Report suspected minors immediately.
• No non-consensual intimate imagery: Do not post or share private intimate images of another person without their explicit consent.
• No illegal or commercial sex: No prostitution, escorting, trafficking or commercial sexual services.
• No spam, scams or impersonation. Be who you say you are, pseudonym and all.
• No weapons, violence or dangerous acts.

Enforcement

• Warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, suspension or ban.
• Decisions can be appealed through support.
• Serious violations may be reported to authorities.

Adult Content Policy

Adult content is permitted on Veyled only when it is lawful, consensual and correctly classified.

• You must be a verified adult to upload adult content.
• Content must be self-produced or fully licensed, and all depicted persons must be adults who consented.
• Correctly classify sensitivity (safe, suggestive, adult) and visibility so members see only what they choose.
• Prohibited: content involving minors (reported to authorities); non-consensual intimate imagery; bestiality; content that sexualises real people without consent; and anything illegal in your or our jurisdiction.
• All adult content is subject to automated and human review. Face-blurring is applied to images by default; unblurred originals are only available with mutual face-reveal consent.
• We may integrate hash-matching services (such as StopNCII) to detect and prevent re-uploads of known non-consensual content.

Consent Policy

Consent is the core of Veyled. The progressive consent ladder — Text → Voice → Veyled Video → Adult Mode → Unveyl — requires explicit, recorded, revocable consent from both participants at every stage.

• A request creates a pending consent event; only the receiving member can accept.
• Granted stages can be revoked instantly by either participant, ending that stage immediately.
• Consent events are stored server-side for safety review and dispute resolution.
• Consent to one stage never implies consent to another. Past consent never implies future consent.
• Honesty limit: no platform can prevent a participant from recording their own screen with another device. Share only what you are comfortable with, and revoke at any time.

Account & Verification

• Adult verification is performed by an independent provider using a government ID and liveness/selfie match.
• We store only the verification result, provider reference and timestamp — never your ID or biometric data.
• Verification can be revoked by us if fraud or a policy violation is suspected; the account then loses adult functionality.
• Keep your account secure; you are responsible for all activity under it. Enable provider security features where available.

Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) Takedown

Non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited. If your intimate image appears on Veyled without your consent, report it for expedited removal.

• Submit a report through the app or email safety@veyled.com with the content location and a brief explanation.
• We prioritise NCII reports, review within 24 hours where possible, and remove content that violates this policy.
• We preserve moderation records for legitimate safety and legal purposes and act against repeat offenders.
• We intend to integrate recognised hash-matching services to detect and block re-uploads of known NCII.
• If you are under 18, or the content involves someone under 18, tell us — it will be removed and reported to the relevant authorities.

Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

Rights holders may submit a copyright takedown notice under applicable law (e.g., the DMCA).

• Identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material (with URLs or references).
• Include a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised and the information is accurate.
• Provide your physical or electronic signature and contact details.
• Send notices to legal@veyled.com. We review and act on valid notices, including removal and termination of repeat infringers.
• Counter-notices are handled under the same framework; misrepresentation may carry liability.

Law Enforcement

• Lawful requests for data must be submitted through our designated legal channel (legal@veyled.com) on official letterhead.
• We disclose only what applicable law requires, challenging or narrowing overbroad requests where appropriate.
• Emergency disclosures are handled where life or safety is at serious risk, consistent with law.
• We publish transparency information where permitted.

Dispute Resolution & Limitation of Liability

• Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through support first.
• Unresolved disputes are resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis; class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the extent permitted by law.
• The Service is provided “as is”; the Company disclaims warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law and limits liability as stated in the Terms.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; they apply only to the extent permitted.
